After a long break from releasing any new regular strains and bowing to the constant demands of our WoS fans, we are pleased to present our new regular marijuana strain, Bubba Haze.

WoS’s Bubba Haze is a regular cannabis strain that derives from crossing a male Bubba Kush with a Ghost Train Haze female, both of which are regular genetics originating from the west coast of the United States.

Bubba Haze is a mainly sativa hybrid that is a large plant which produces big yields, grows rapidly owing to the indica influence of the Bubba Kush, which is a 100% indica plant and one of the best in the world, and which also contributes the characteristic to produce large quantities of great quality resin.

Our WoS top tip for indoor growers; if you do not want a very high plant, restrict to 2 weeks of vegetative growth, and for outdoor growers; plant at the end of May in the northern hemisphere and during October in the southern hemisphere.

This plant produces large resin-covered buds. It is not unusual for this strain to take on violet purple hues similar to lavender.

The effect is euphoric and long-lasting but does get more relaxing as time goes by. Suitable for lovers of old-school flavours and good for any type of extraction owing to the high percentage of trichomes in its flowers.

Nirvana Wonder Woman is another one of those fabulous new high-volume marijuana strains. Wonder Woman bears rock hard buds which are easy to trim. The smoke of this cannabis variety has a classic, rich, skunky flavour accompanied by a long-lasting buzz and massive yeilds.

Bubblelicious was developed in the Midwest, U.S.A., then brought to the Netherlands in the 1990s to be further refined. Its cannabis plants are vigorous and finish flowering in about 8 weeks. Nirvana Bubblelicious is highly resinous and extra sweet. Certain phenotypes will actually display a distinct pink bubblegum scent and flavour. This strain of cannabis is also very suitable for medical marijuana users.

Panama x Bangi Haze combines our best and most balanced parental plants of both strains, already classic and highly worked sativa hybrids in depth by themselves, blending their best features in this very refined F1 hybrid between American and African sativas.

Excellent structure, vigorous, branchy and easy to handle. Under proper growing conditions, the floral density is very good, and the production of flowers and resins is very high.

Nirvana have crossed Nirvana Haze with Northern Light to produce a heavier set plant. This classic F1 cannabis hybrid will still reach great heights, yet dense Northern Light-style buds form on its tall stems. The bud leaves are a bright lime green. As with any Haze hybrid, this strain of marijuana does require some attention and patience. Sterling Haze smoke has that familiar sweet-and-sour haze-y taste and produces a stony yet uppy high.

In the mid-1990s, a marijuana legend was born. Almost overnight, White Widow appeared on the menu of just about every coffee-shop in the Netherlands. This marijuana masterpiece went on to become a yardstick against which all other “white” marijuana strains are held up. Marijuana seeds of the White Widow strain grow into tall plants with delicate arms. Her buds are moderately compact in order to contain the copious amounts of THC resin she produces. Tending toward the Cannabis Sativa side, Nirvana White Widow produces a buzz that is powerful yet energizing and very social.

Traditional hash plant from the Rif area near to Ketama and Chefchaouen, famous for producing kif (the traditional blend of cannabis flowers with tobacco) and the famous Moroccan blond hash.

This pure Moroccan strain is one of the fastest psychoactive sativa landraces on the planet, due to its semi autoflowering traits and its very short flowering time. Traditionally, this strain is sown at the beginning of spring, starting to bloom in June, and being harvested as early as August, when it begins to be processed and beaten by hand to produce the traditional Moroccan hashish, which varies in quality depending on the size of the sieve and the amount of time the flowers are beaten.

Moroccan plants are small/medium sized. They start with fairly wide leaves, but when they reach their sexual maturity and flowering they develop as a pure sativa with foxtail floral structures, quickly accumulating to form good sized buds. There are 2 main phenotypes according to their structure. The most common phenotype grows very columnar and tall, with the second phenotype being smaller, shorter and more branched.

This variety is grown at a very high plant density in its native land, with very little fertilizer and water, which means it has developed excellent resistance against heat and drought, performing perfectly with little care and low levels of nutrients, which makes it an ideal strain for outdoor guerrilla growing in hot and dry climates.

Morocco is the largest hashish producer in the world, with its renowned hashish being the most exported, especially to Europe. Unfortunately, since the beginning of the 21st century, a massive introduction of foreign indoor genetics from Europe and North America has taken place in Morocco, in order to increase the hashish production and potency.

While this has been achieved on certain farms where these foreign genetics are cultivated with more care, the genetic contamination has also meant that Moroccan hashish has gradually lost its characteristic psychoactivity and distinctive 'golden' and mellow terpenes, which made Moroccan hashish a world reference in the cannabis scene of the 20th century.

Certain Moroccan growers have now realized that these new foreign genetics require much more care, water and fertilizers, are harvested much later than traditional Moroccan strains, and do not have the same resistance against heat and outdoor pests. The old Moroccan strains are still the most suitable for growing in large remote plots with poor irrigation resources that cannot be tended with as much care.

For this reason, a group of old school Moroccan growers have offered us ancient heirloom Moroccan seeds for their reproduction and preservation, before the unstoppable genetic contamination completely wipes out the old Moroccan strains in their original state.
