Hailing from one of the motherlands of hash, Elephant Hash is an Indian strain known for its unique production process and high THC content. Despite its origins in the East, Elephant Hash is particularly prominent in Europe and more recently in North America. 

Elephant Hash is made using a slightly different technique than more traditional hash strains. Instead of using mature cannabis plants that have been hund-dried, Elephant Hash manufacturers use fresh or live buds to create a more aromatic and flavorful end product. The result is a block of hash with sweet, peppery aroma that heats well and crumbles nicely despite its deceptively dense consistency. 

Although this strain does contain relatively high amounts of THC, Elephant Hash is actually one of the milder strains on the market. This makes this strain ideal for newcomers since it is more difficult to over-consume. However, it’s important to remember that all hash is highly concentrated compared to most forms of cannabis due to an extraction process that captures all of the potent compounds from the trichomes and leaves behind pretty much everything else.
